The Talent Contest & Welcome Party for the Freshmen of FLD was Held
On the night of September 25, the talent contest & welcome party for the freshmen of FLD was held in the seventh academic report hall. The attendance included Chen Bing (the League Secretary of Department), Li Yuntao and Gao Jing (the students’ counselors of freshmen), the drillmasters and all freshmen of 2011.
At the start of the contest, manifold performances such as dancing and singing were performed by the freshmen participants. After that the students of 2010 performed songs in different languages, such as Chinese, English, and Russian, to welcome the freshmen. Their performances won the warmest applause of the students.
At last, the performances given by the drillmasters pushed the party towards a peak.
The talent contest not only showed the vitality outlook of the students of foreign language department, but also reflected the teaching objective of our department, that is, to encourage both the development of students' knowledge and versatility.
