An Introduction of Foreign Languages School
Foreign Languages School is one of the biggest school in Zheng Zhou Normal University. At present, the school is composed of four majors，such as Education English, Business English, Application Russian and News Interviewing & Editing (Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools). Gradutes would engage in English education and teaching, business English, and Russion related tourism, hotel service and management, news interviewing and diting and so on. In addition our department established the College Public Eglish Department, which undertakes the task of English teaching for the students from non-English departments.
Our school has a larger number of professional teachers, and both teaching and research in our department is pretty outstanding. Nowdays it is our department with thirety faculty, two of them are professors, ten vice- professors, six Ph. D. in studying, twenty postgraduates and three foreign teachers. Professors Zhang Meng, Qin Li and other ten teachers have ever gone abroad for further education, such as the United State, the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries. All the faculty devote themselves to their beloved careers. The department has been honoured as Exemplification Specialty of Zhengzhou City. “Methodology of Teaching English” has been regarded as Provincial Fine-selected Course in Henan Province.
